Inktober 2019 Day12: Dragon

Still working through the Inktober prompts.

And I don’t do dragons. I wish I’d thought to do a dragonfly!!! But I didn’t. I did not use reference photos here because… well, I figured any reference photos would just be what other people imagined anyway. I could have chosen some animals to try to shape the body after, but I didn’t want to put that much effort into it!! (I worked today and it wore me out.)  🙂 I really liked this pen. I’ve had it for ages but never really used it, and had forgotten about it. It has a small flexible lettering-type nib, and cartridges of ink.

Inktober 2019 Day 8: Frail (???)

Inktober Day 8: the prompt is frail, but all I could think up was a thin elderly person, and I didn’t want to draw that. So instead I sketched a feather and a broken shell I found on the beach this weekend… more Fragile than Frail, I think? Good enough, though.
