Love it, but my memories of listening to the radio is different. In the 1930 era we didn’t have the headphones. We would be laying on our tummies on the floor with our arms bent at the elbows with our head resting in our hands….staring at the radio!
Yes, I copied it from a 1923 photo and am really wondering what the kid is doing. He looks so little!!! With headphones, it must be a shortwave radio thingy… i was going to find a reference photo of a kid in front of a big cool waltons mountain looking radio, like maybe “christmas story” type image…1940s or something… but when i found this photo i really wanted to try it!
