Is this the most adorable thing yet?? And “Iraville” on youtube is too cute. And talented. Her stuff is difficult for me but I love trying. I’m having considerable trouble controlling the masking fluid, in particular.

A 365 day art project… one drawing a day

Adorable tutorial by pearfleur on youtube. I love their little pale reflections.

Still Strathmore 400 5×8 watercolor journal. M Graham watercolor paints and a white and blue gel pen. Still testing the Craftamo brushes I received.
Also in my Strathmore 400 5×8 watercolor journal. Trying to fill it up! Except the bluebells at the bottom… they are on a larger piece of watercolor paper that I’m adding to some mail for a friend. The orchids were just a quick testing of a new pyramid/triangle brush I got in the mail. Still using the M Graham paints, ultramarine, hansa, terra rosa, quinacridone rose, Daniel Smith Sepia, but the bluebells are actually using Kuretake Gansai Tambii paints and testing craftamo paint brushes. Actually, the pink branch is, too, now that I think about it.
Trying some new styles out. Still youtube tutorials. These two are Painting With David. Well, I know the tree is. And I think the landscape is.
Strathmore 400 watercolor journal 5.5×8″. M Graham watercolors. Ultramarine, Sepia, hanse yellow, terra rosa, quinacridone rose. Daniel Smith Sepia. Testing out some sample Craftamo brushes.

Two more Sheeler tutorials. Testing craftamo brushes.

I like them both. But…I love this one….
I
“Jelly Bean Row” in Newfoundland. From one of Peter Sheeler’s tutorials, but this time I didn’t even watch his tutorial, just used his reference photo.

So the past few days I have been a painting monster, really! I have so many things. I haven’t decided how to post them yet. I’ll keep working every day, but some of my posts may include things from this past week as well. I’m going to start with two tutorials from Peter Sheeler. Laundry. Mundane, right? But so sweet.

I’m using Angela Fehr’s tutorials and ideas. Actually, I just copied her picture. THEN saw she had a tutorial on this which would have made it better. But I still like it. She has a very loose style that is difficult for me, but I’m hoping to master it. Most of her things are very wet and free form. She offers an online class in it for $39, I just haven’t decided yet about paying for it.
