I love sunflowers and daffodils. But I hate these paintings! I have to post them, however, or have nothing to share. I’m not missing a day because of foolish pride. Well, theres a little part of each I like, so I’ll focus on that. π

Now, I like the daffodil. Never been fond of sunflowers. Flowers in nature aren’t perfect, you know. You shouldn’t expect drawings of them to be perfect, either. π

I think we tend to be more critical of our work right after we’ve completed it. I think it’s because maybe it didn’t come out exactly how we saw it in our head. A little distance sometimes puts it in perspective. I know it does for me in my crochet. I think the flowers are lovely. π

That’s a good point, that might be it, that it isn’t quite what we thought it would be. And later we can take it at its face value.
