Yeah, a two day celebration 🙂
Sunday at the zoo…

Monday out for pizza, games, and snow cones:

I fell a bit behind on my journal, so I’ve been trying to catch up. But I’m rushing pages in this journal, not spending the time I’d like to. (Or effort, really, more than time) Any practice is good, though, right? I keep telling myself that, anyway…
Your people are beautifully done as always. Great pages.

Thank you for saying so… I really am not happy with these recent pages and didn’t want to post! I have been trying to figure out how to sketch people this year (as you know) and it is fun when i see progress!

I think sometimes we are just to close to the project to be objective. Your pages really are lovely.

You may be right. I do think i will enjoy looking back in this journal as time passes. Doing it EVERY day is difficult. But i can see the benefits. I think when i allow myself to start really missing entries, i will stop doing it again, just out of laziness, and i hope i don’t let that happen!

It’s a huge commitment. I once did a 30 day challenge and it wore me out. There was a definite drop in quality around day 15. I learned a lot from it and plan to do it again in November.

Honestly, I thought 30 days would be a cinch, not a challenge at all. Ha!!
