Completing the sketch from a couple of days ago… Different in execution than I’d imagined, and a good experience trying them. I feel like I can do better but I’m not exactly sure how.

Day 139 (Fri 5/19) unfinished koi sketch
I hate to post something unfinished. But… I’m happy with my sketch. I’ve drawn my koi fish, and hopefully will get them painted tomorrow or Sunday. No more time today! Well that’s the point of this year I guess… to show myself that even when there are lots of other obligations, I can still make time for art. Or whatever else is important to me.
