When I posted the Reflected Trees I’d done from the tutorial on the youtube channel “maremi smallart,” I rejected my first attempt halfway through. Yesterday I completed it and actually liked it pretty well… so now I know not to throw away attempts I don’t like… I may be able to rework them anyway!

They both look lovely Holly. This is a lesson I learnt with my photography – if I didn’t like a photo I’d processed, instead of just deleting it, I would leave it for a week or two and then go back to it with fresh perspective. Quite often my view of it would then be very different. I guess the same thins works for painting too… !
